Thanks for your interest in our club!  We started  Just Us to set an example for people of color who wanted to learn how to run/walk in local and area races.  It's free to join and ALL are welcome!

Where do we meet?

Area Parks and Trails

Every  Saturday @ 0730am @ Chesapeake Park and we run/walk for 1 hour, contact us for more information.  Each person should arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you are warmed up.  Have fun and enjoy nature and our great company!

Did you Know?

1st recorded marathon

The soldier that completed the 26 mile run to alert his post of the incoming troops, in fact collapsed and died!  He did complete his task and they were ready as a result of his sacrifice.

We run for health and to set an example to all persons of color that want to learn how to run, become healthier and participate in local/national races.

 

 

 Good day all!  Please use the contact page for all communication about our club or email us.  We will wear gold, black or green when we race to show solidarity.  Many of us run now and just want a group to go out with on cold fall and winter days, so come join us!  Coach Clement

 - New to running but ready for a change and eager    participants! Lytrece is our run fashion statement!

 - Lytrece is on Injured Reserve and there has been a Crystal sighting.  Motivation is the key and we are full of it!

   - Recently completed 10K in about 61 minutes, loves running for peace of mind!

 - Yes, they're newlyweds and do EVERYTHING together! Tasha sometimes needs a little push to go further but does so with relative ease...LOL

 - OoK!  This one needs no bio.  She's the funny bone of Just Us!  Her next race is, wow, next week.

 - Cicely recently finished 2nd in her age group at a local 5K race!  Go "Tyson"! 

 - 2/26/11 - Keeping Tasha running weekly and smiling doing it! 

 

 

 

***Hydrate, hydrate hydrate!  Even though it's getting cooler, you must hydrate your body as if it were hot. Healthy nutrition and plenty of rest are two very important ingredients of those seeking a healthier lifestyle!***
